Lecture on the History of Duszniki’s Spa Park
Duszniki’s Spa Park is now 256 years old, and the design that made it famous across Europe was created 139 years ago. Last year, a unique historical walk took place. This year, we invite you to another special event – a lecture by Łukasz Przybylak titled “Emerald in the Valley, Jewel in Europe – Duszniki Spa Park and its Creator.”
The 256-year-old Duszniki Spa Park is one of the most beautiful places in the region, and its design, which brought it European renown, was conceived 139 years ago. Last year, visitors had the chance to explore its history during an exceptional guided walk. This year, we invite you once again to discover its fascinating past. On August 16, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., in the Hotel Impresja at 19 Zielona Street, Duszniki-Zdrój, Łukasz Przybylak will deliver a lecture entitled “Emerald in the Valley, Jewel in Europe – Duszniki Spa Park and its Creator.” During the talk, participants will learn about the origins of the park, its unique landscape architecture, and the life of its designer, Carl Hampel, who gave the park its present form. This is an excellent opportunity to see the park from a new perspective and uncover intriguing facts about the green heart of the town.
